No attempt is made to include the meaning behind the nominal data published here, but time based comparison will prove helpful in evaluating progress  through  quantifiable and easy to understand statistics.  Researchers are encouraged not to use data at face value, but to use the FITA website to first understand how data is collected and what service related factors there may exist at any point in time.
